Mustafa Karasu, one of the PKK's top officials in Qandil has commented upon the recent agreement between the AKP government and HDP, stating that: “It is deceiving to claim that PKK is disarming.”
Shortly before the critical meeting held in Dolmabahçe Palace, member of Group of Communities in Kurdistan (KCK) Mustafa Karasu stated: “They are arguing about a solution to the Kurdish problem, but the AKP is trying to create a perception in the public that PKK is disarming. Then, the question would be why they do not let the PKK and Öcalan have a meeting. You claim that there is a problem between Öcalan and PKK. Then, you can solve it by bringing them together. It is very important whether or not the aKP government will solve the problem by applying the ten conditions demanded in the meeting by Dolmabahçe Palace. It is a deceiving demagogy to claim that PKK is disarming in the meantime.”
KCK/PKK: The process may come to an end
The PKK administration in Qandil had recently made a statement and blamed the AKP government for not taking a step forward. It was reported by the KCK, an umbrella organization for the Kurdish armed insurgency including the PKK, the Kurdish resolution process may enter an extremely dangerous and critical ending period in 15th of February.
Executive Committee Member of the PKK Duran Kalkan said: "PKK does not disarm, why would it? Kurds do not disarm. Turkey should disarm.” Kalkan claimed that public are being deceived on disarming issue to reduce the votes of Kurdish parties. He went on to say that the Kurdish Resolution process cannot go on under these circumstances.
