Turkish citizens carrying Turkish flags chant slogans against PKK terrorist organization

A number of Turkish citizens in Berlin on Sunday protested Saturday's terror attacks near a football stadium in Istanbul that martyred at least 38 people and injured 155 others.

Turkish citizens carrying Turkish flags chanted slogans against PKK terrorist organization expressing their support for Turkey and Turkish soldiers.

In a press statement read in Wittenbergplatz Square, it was stated that "those who fed from terror do not want Turkey to be peaceful and be developed."

The statement underlined the unity and integrity of Turkey.

The citizens left the square after the declaration was read in German.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and the EU and resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July last year against the Turkish state.

More than 300 civilians and nearly 800 security personnel have since been martyred. Around 8,000 PKK terrorists have been killed or apprehended.
