Turkish exporters have claimed that Iranian companies have started to cancel orders due to the recent statement of President Erdoğan who blamed Iran for the chaos in Yemen.

The tension between Iran and Turkey is increasing due to the recent statement of Turkish President Erdoğan who blamed Iran for the chaos in Yemen. 

Iranian MPs told Erdoğan not to set a foot in Iran again. 

Turkish businessmen are worried due to the effects of anti-Iran politics of Erdoğan and the ruling AKP government, which causes cancellations in orders of Iranian companies. 

Some expressed their worry saying: “We do not want to reveal the names of our companies. You all know why. Because of the poor politics of the aKP government and Erdoğan, our business with Iran are damaged of millions of dollars.” 

Turkey has done business of 4 billionn dollars with Iran in 2014, mostly in mine, jewellery and electronics.
