ISIL Installs Wireless Communication System on Turkish Border

Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants installed a wireless communication system on top of a tall building in Syrian border town Telabyad, close to Turkish border town Akçakale in Sanliurfa region

Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants installed a wireless communication system on top of a tall building in Syrian border town Telabyad, close to Turkish border town Akçakale in Sanliurfa region.

ISIL militants installed the wireless communication system on top of the tall building, which has been used by them as wheat silo, since January 2014, when they captured the town.

Five ISIL militants climed up to the top of the bulding, very close to the Turkish territory, where Turkish security forces were o guard with armoured vehicles. They mounted the system on top of the building and fastened up it by additional cables.

The installing operation of the ISIL militants was watched from the Turkish side.
