ISIS-PKK/PYD #039;collusion#039; targets Op. Euphrates Shield

The terror group ISIS is colluding with the terrorist PKK/PYD against Turkey’s Operation Euphrates Shield as it approaches Al-Bab, a strategic Syrian city in the northwestern Aleppo province.

Turkish military sources, who asked not be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media, said the two terrorist groups are currently in negotiations over Al-Bab, since the operation is as close as 12 kilometers from the city.

The sources said ISIS agreed to leave the nearby villages of Kafr Karis, Tal Susin, and Maarat Muslimiyah, as well as the Fafin district, to the PYD/PKK terrorist group.

The negotiations are based on the expectation that the PYD/PKK gets close to Al-Bab, which is currently under ISIS control. The PKK/PYD needs to get the Al-Bab district from ISIS in order to unite the districts of Afrin (to the west) and Mambij (to the east).

Meanwhile, under the operation, Turkish forces along with the Free Syrian Army (FSA) have started to narrow the PKK/PYD's Afrin-Tal Rifaat corridor, which exits from the Al-Bab-Manbij area.

Operation Euphrates Shield, which was launched on Aug. 24, aims at improving security, supporting coalition forces, and eliminating the terror threat along Turkey’s border using Free Syrian Army fighters backed by Turkish armor, artillery, and jets.

The sources said the PKK/PYD is "willing to fight" with Turkish and Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces for the sake of getting close to Al-Bab, so the two terrorist groups will also combine some of their frontlines.

The PKK/PYD terrorist organization is working to get control of the entire Turkish-Syrian border in order to cut the two countries off from each other.

TSK and Erdogsn are not known for their sound analysisses of strategy, but this tops it.

Everybody knows Euphrates Shield is a sham between IS and Turkey.
