In the official website of the General Staff, it was stated that three men carrying sacks were seized on the Syria-Turkey border, trying to enter the Turkish soils on the morning of 1 May. They fled back to Syria despite the warnings. 2710 arms, including Kalashnikovs, were found in the sacks afterwards by the Turkish forces.
Critics believe that the PKK is getting ready for the post-election period, by piling up arms in Turkey. It is also claimed that terrorists fought in Kobane and Sengal are coming back now that the clashes over there have grown slower.
